How Smile HQ Generated New Orthodontic Appointments with AutoRemind Mass Messaging
Smile HQ in Washington, DC wanted to promote orthodontic services to its patient base. The team organized an Open House together with its sister company Elite Ortho and partnered with AutoRemind to launch a coordinated, multi-touch patient outreach campaign.
Together, we created a branded engagement program consisting of four mass messages and a dedicated registration landing page. The campaign reached approximately 8,000 patients, building awareness of the event, driving attendance, and creating opportunities for new orthodontic consultations.

Initially, Smile HQ’s objective was to engage patients who had been advised to consider orthodontic services and to invite them into a meaningful conversation with the Doctor. This group was reached through both emails and text messages. Because these patients were already better informed about orthodontic treatment, when we expanded the campaign to the wider audience we added more foundational education about the value of orthodontic care.
Creative That Captured Attention
Based on Smile HQ’s input, we created visually attractive messages designed to capture attention. Emails featured the Doctor as the sender — the most recognizable person for the recipients. To make the event more appealing, Smile HQ incorporated popular local food favorites, including donuts from The Donut Run and fried chicken from Honeymoon, and AutoRemind helped the team visualize and communicate it. The messages were set up as a 10-day drip campaign.
A Dedicated Registration Landing Page
To support the campaign, AutoRemind created a dedicated landing page that served as a central destination for event information and registration, including:
